This is a great, solid and underrated album by this great early 1970s power-trio band. The album is the highlight of this band's career containing great riffs, innovative, yet daily life lyrics with strong rhythm section performance on every track. The album's only shortcoming is that it was released in 1971 i.e. the year where the trinity of heavy metal (Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and Deep Purple) were at their prime of sound + the presence of many other sergeants of heavy sound
, so this never helped any other obscure to the mass kinds of bands like Bang to rise and get the recognition of the mainstream.
The album is an album-driven track one, with all the tracks being members of greatness, but the real deal stand out tracks are :
"Lions and Christians" , "The Queen" , "Come With Me" and "Redman"
In my humble opinion, I give the album 8 out of 10 stars
Genre/s : Hard Rock , Heavy Metal
